Heavy storms in 2016caused sections of the Waterfall Gully to Mount Lofty trail in Adelaide, South Australia to collapse; the only positive being that fallen rocks and shifted banks have made for a few different compositions

Waves gurgle and collapse over the shallow shore under an overcast sunrise near Port Elliot.

Early in the morning a surfer strides around jagged rocks and roiling surf to the sweeping curls of crashing tide beyond.

This photograph was taken at the Tennyson Dunes in Adelaide, South Australia. Most of the beaches to the north of Adelaide are great for soft white sand but challenging in terms of finding a foreground, so I decided again to photograph the dunes leading up to the beach.

This photograph was taken in Victor Harbor from Petrel Cove on the Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. The summer sunset made from some intense colours, and the air was pleasantly warm compared to a recent heatwave.

Early one blustery morning on the Fleurieu Peninsula near Port Elliot.

I had visited Middleton in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula in the hope of catching a glimpse of a pod of Southern Right Whales that had been spotted in the area over the last few days. There was one whale majestically lounging around a hundred metres from the shore, but after a few minutes taking some telephoto shots I swapped to an ultrawide and made my way, as usual, to the always interesting, ever changing, diverse wave beaten rocks below.
